As an important equipment in the production process, daily maintenance of the Rotary Drum Granulator is essential. The following are the areas where the Rotary Drum Granulator needs regular maintenance:
1. The main part of the drum
Appearance inspection: Check the outer wall of the drum frequently to see if there are scratches, corrosion spots, etc. Minor scratches may affect the appearance, but serious scratches may weaken the structural strength of the drum. Moreover, if the corrosion points are not handled in time, they may gradually expand, leading to serious problems such as drum perforation.
Internal inspection: Enter the drum regularly and check the internal lining. If the lining is severely worn, it will affect the granulation effect and may cause the drum body to be directly worn by the material.
2. Transmission system maintenance
Motor maintenance: The motor is the power source of the Rotary Drum Granulator. Check whether the motor wiring is loose to prevent circuit failure due to poor contact. At the same time, pay attention to the cooling fan of the motor to ensure its normal operation to prevent the motor from overheating.
Belt or chain: Check the wear of the belt or chain. If the belt is peeling or cracked or the chain links are loose or deformed, they should be replaced in time. And make sure the belt or chain is properly tight. If it is too loose, it will slip, and if it is too tight, it will increase wear.

3. Feed and discharge part
Feed port: Clean up the debris and accumulated materials around the feed port in time to prevent blockage. Uneven feeding will lead to uneven granulation size.
Discharge port: Check whether the screen at the discharge port is damaged. A damaged screen will cause unqualified particles to flow out, affecting product quality.
4. Lubrication system
The rotating parts such as the bearings of the drum need good lubrication. Check the oil level of grease or lubricating oil regularly, and replenish or replace it according to the prescribed cycle to reduce friction loss between parts.
5. Calibrate equipment accuracy
Regularly check whether the speed and inclination angle of the Rotary Drum Granulator meet the requirements, use a tachometer and a level to measure and adjust to ensure the quality of granulation.
Through daily maintenance of the above aspects, the failure rate of the Rotary Drum Granulator can be effectively reduced, production efficiency can be improved, and product quality can be ensured.
