The ring die granulator is a core piece of equipment in producing feed, biomass pellets, and more. Its service life directly affects a company's production costs and operational efficiency.

1.Daily Cleaning and Maintenance

After each day's production, thoroughly clean the ring die granulator, especially residue inside the die holes. Use specialized tools to clear carbon buildup and impurities from the die holes to prevent clogging. Also, check the lubrication of the compression roller bearings and top up with high-quality grease promptly.

2.Regular Inspection of Key Components

Weekly, inspect the wear on the ring die and compression rollers. If the die hole wear expands by more than 0.2mm or roller wear exceeds 5mm, consider replacing them. Regularly check the tension of drive belts to ensure efficient power transmission.

3.Scientific Lubrication

Use the correct lubrication methods and high-quality lubricants. Replenish grease for the compression roller bearings every 8 hours. Change the gearbox lubricating oil monthly, using specialized products that are high-temperature resistant and oxidation-resistant.

4.Standardized Operation

Operators should be professionally trained. Before starting, ensure no metal foreign objects are inside the machine. Maintain a consistent and steady feed rate. Before shutdown, stop feeding first and finish emptying the machine of material.

In short, implementing these scientific and standardized maintenance measures can significantly extend the ring die granulator's service life, improve production efficiency, and reduce maintenance costs.
