Fertilizer pellets made with double roller press granulators are denser, stronger, and less likely to break. But if stored wrong, they can still get damp, clump together, or lose nutrients, reducing their effectiveness.
1.Control Moisture
Pellets easily soak up moisture and clump. Store them in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse. Keep humidity below 60%. Use dehumidifiers or moisture absorbers like quicklime or silica gel.
2.Keep Temperatures Right
High heat makes nutrients (like nitrogen) evaporate or break down. Keep storage below 30°C and out of direct sunlight. Improve ventilation or use shade in summer.
3.Separate Different Types
Store different fertilizer formulas (like nitrogen, phosphate, or compound fertilizers) apart. This stops chemical reactions that waste nutrients. Also, keep fertilizers away from pesticides, seeds, etc., to avoid contamination.

4.Stack Carefully
Although the granules produced by the double roller press granulator have high strength, they may still deform or break under long-term pressure. Don't stack higher than 2 meters. Check regularly if bottom bags are getting crushed.
5.Avoid Long Storage
Storing too long leads to clumping or nutrient loss. Use the “First in, first out.” rule. Try to use the pellets within 6 to 12 months.
6.Check Regularly
Check warehouse temperature, humidity, and pellet condition weekly. Deal with any clumping, dampness, or torn bags right away. Re-dry or screen the pellets if needed.
Through scientific storage management, the quality of fertilizer particles produced by the double roller press granulator can be maintained to the greatest extent, ensuring stable fertilizer efficiency and improving agricultural production efficiency.
