Windrow compost turning machines are key equipment in composting and organic fertilizer production. They effectively promote material fermentation and boost production efficiency. To ensure stable operation, pay attention to these key points:

1.Pre-Operation Checks

Fluids and Lubrication: Ensure hydraulic oil and engine oil levels are sufficient. Grease all lubrication points to prevent dry running.

Tracks and Drive System: Check if tracks are loose or worn. Inspect chains and gears for proper function to avoid derailment or jamming during operation.

2.Operating Standards During Use

Smooth Start-Up: Begin at low speed. Only increase turning speed gradually after the windrow compost turning machine stabilizes—avoid sudden acceleration that causes impact.

Control Turning Depth: Adjust depth based on material moisture. Too deep increases load; too shallow reduces fermentation effectiveness.

Steady Travel: Maintain consistent speed. Avoid sharp turns or frequent speed changes to prevent derailment or tipping.

3.Post-Shutdown Maintenance

Clear Residual Material: Remove leftover debris to prevent corrosion, especially on knife shafts and tracks.

Check Wear Parts: Replace severely worn blades or chains promptly to avoid affecting future work.

Store Dry: When not in use long-term, park under cover in a dry, rain-protected area.

Proper operation extends the windrow compost turning machine’s life, cuts repair costs, and improves composting efficiency. Operators must follow guidelines, perform regular maintenance, and ensure safe production.
